Staying with a family really
made the Cusco experience! We had a perfect
balance between being tourist and living like
locals. We would recommend it to anyone,
especially if staying for more than a few
nights.

Everything was smooth and
easy; the entire experience was very pleasant.
The family was warm and friendly and they gave
me total independence, which was important. They
were always ready to help with advice,
directions or explanations. My room was large
and comfortable and the hot water great.
Overall, it was a very satisfying experience,
and I’m glad I decided to do it this way.

offered to set up a Stereo , Tv and CD
player for me ; they got a new shower
head to ensure the water was hot enough
……. They were always willing to help
like this. |

Homestay was a great way to
work on my Spanish every day. I was in Cusco
doing research on water systems in the city and
it was extremely useful to talk to the family
about urban governance and whether they drank
the tap water.
I would recommend homestay
simply because they were organized and
responsive. I didn’t have to worry about
anything on arrival.

: Very accommodating, they gave me total
freedom to come and go but plenty of
opportunities to share meals and speak
Spanish. |

: I always had breakfast including
freshly made Papaya juice! It took me a
few days to figure that lunch is the
main meal here but I always had
plenty to eat. |
